Why Yoga?

I have been exercising on and off my whole life. After trying yoga a few times, I never really thought it was me.  In 2018, a coworker encouraged me to go with her to a yoga class. I went along with no expectation that I would like the class or would ever go back.

But that class was the perfect balance of strength, stretch and calm for me.  On that day, it turned out to be exactly what I needed. I left the class a little lighter, a little calmer.

That was the beginning of the journey for me. Yoga is so much more than the class or physical asana practice.  In a world of chaos and heartbreak, Yoga keeps me grounded. A little lighter, a little calmer.
